My Interview with WILLOW the Fuzzy-Nosed Cat

She was just a tiny, homeless kitten with a chromosomal abnormality when she was found by a special ed teacher.

Now Willow is a fuzzy-nosed beauty and Instagram star on the rise.

KATNISS: Wow, it must’ve been scary being out on the street all alone as a young kitten.

WILLOW: Yes, but I’m lucky that a kind woman came along and helped meowt. She took me in, cleaned me up and took care of me.

KATNISS: It’s been said you got your name, Willow, after the road you were found on. But it seems like you could also be named that because your nose looks like a pussy willow. Has anyone else pointed that out before?

WILLOW: No. I haven’t heard that but that’s true. It’s soft and fuzzy like a pussy willow.

KATNISS: You have quite a few famous IG cat furiends. Tell me how you’ve found furiendship through social media.

WILLOW: Because I looove to pose for photos, my Meowmy created an Instagram account fur me and then other cats started finding me. Smush has been very helpful and has shared my page. The special needs cat community is very welcoming and close.

KATNISS: That’s very sweet. You also have a best furiend who is a bit different. Different in that she is a dog.

WILLOW: Yes! Ella plays with me and takes care of me. I give her a bath every evening and we nap together. She’s much bigger than me but very gentle. I am 7 pounds and she is 53 pounds.

KATNISS: Sounds like a great furiendship. You guys like to play together – what are you favorite toys?

WILLOW: Pipe cleaners! They are twisty and fuzzy and fun!

KATNISS: You said you like posing for the camera. Would you ever consider becoming a meowdel?

WILLOW: Sure, why not! My Meowmy says I’m beautiful. Today she saw an ad in the GAP Kids store that featured an adorable young girl with Down Syndrome. If she can, I can! Diffurent is beautiful!
