Elli underwent an amazing transfurmation when her fur changed from black to mostly white due to a rare skin condition known as vitiligo.
KATNISS: So, when your fur started changing color – or losing color – what did you think?
ELLI: At furst it was kind of freaking meowt, but once the vet said I was healthy and fine, my Meowmy and I stopped worrying.
KATNISS: Your fur is very mewnique! Some have compared you to a snowy owl.
ELLI: Who would say such a thing? Who? MOL!
KATNISS: How is it pawsible that your sister Rosie’s fur didn’t change at all?
ELLI: I don’t know. It’s all very meowsterious.
KATNISS: Were you furmiliar with Scrappy, the famous Internet cat who also had vitiligo?
ELLI: I didn’t know him purrsonally, but his fur was very impurressive.
KATNISS: So, Elli, what are your favfurite things to do?
ELLI: I love to fetch cable ties and play with my toy mouse. I also enjoy annoying my sister Rosie and pestering my Meowmy when she’s trying to use the bathroom.
KATNISS: Hey, that’s just doing your job.
KATNISS: So, Elli, when you close your eyes, do you dream about all your new fans and followers?
ELLI: Nah. I prefur to dream about dried chicken. >PURR<
