Eddy went from a feral to a furever cat, and now this handsome pink-nosed boy is a spokeskitty fur FIV awareness.

EDDY: Yes, I was living outdoors and walked into a trap. Litter-ally. As in trap-neuter-return. Only without the return. When the kind Humans at Euclid Beach Cat Project discovfured I wasn’t actually feral, they treated my wounds and set out to find me a furever home.

EDDY: — and that was all it took. MOL!

KATNISS: I have to say, it’s an unmewsual combination. I don’t think I’ve evfur seen a cat your color with a pink nose or pink toe beans.

EDDY: Which makes me a cat-ch, baby!

KATNISS: Mew are the purrfect cat-ch… except that living on the streets resulted in you coming down with FIV.

EDDY: Yeah, that was unfurtunate. But now I’ve made it my mission to advo-cat fur cats like me.

KATNISS: You done a good job so fur – your Humom adopted 2 more FIV+ cats.

EDDY: Tilt and Rambo. At furst I was unsure about the Tuxedo Duo, but they wore me down and wore meowt with all their attempts to be furiends. Now we love to cuddle together and Rambo and I are pretty tight.

KATNISS: Fur the Humans reading this who are wondering about FIV, this is your chance to infurm them.

EDDY: Furst I’d like to say that FIV is not contagious to Humans. And generally, FIV+ cats can live with non-FIV cats. The main thing fur pawtential adopters to know is that there can be immune purroblems and expenses.

KATNISS: Fur example…

EDDY: Tilt and I have each had teeth removed – Tilt only has 4 teeth now! Tilt and I have also each needed to go to the vet because we had colds last year. We received a shot and were better within a day or two. We all go to the vet every year fur our annual check up which is very impurrtant for FIV+ cats.
