KATNISS: Doubles, tell me how you found your furever home.
DOUBLES: Well, my Humans saw my picture on Petfinder and went to the shelter to check meowt. When they asked about me, the man at the front desk said, “Doubles? That one’s an oddball.” Which my Humans took as a selling point.
KATNISS: So are you an oddball?
DOUBLES: Purroudly so! I love to wiggle up against walls and corners until I get into upside-down somersault poses. I also like to plop down in the dirtiest pawsible places – like a pile of sweaty gym clothes or the floor sweepings the humans gather up for me to roll in.
KATNISS: Fun! What else makes you diffurent?
DOUBLES: I’m very vocal and like to meow at nothing. I also make a “gobble” sound when zooming around the house. Oh – and I love to hide behind corners so when a Human walks by, I can jump out and paw at their legs. Good times!
KATNISS: You live with Food Lady and Toy Man. Food Lady is an artist. Have you been her meowdel?
DOUBLES: Oh, yes. She is always doodling me because she says I’m “naturally animated and cartoonish.”
KATNISS: And Toy Man plays with you?
DOUBLES: Yes! I love to play! My favorites are my rainbow ribbon, springs, and any garbage I can get my paws on – scraps of paper, wrappers and shoelaces. I also really like bubbles.
KATNISS: You are a very silly girl. Speaking of silly, tell me about the pillows.
DOUBLES: A family member got one as a gift fur Food Lady on her birthday. She loved it so much that he gave her another one for the holidays. She thinks they are hissterical.
KATNISS: They are! Just like you.
