While Humans are washing their hands raw and stocking up on hand sanitizer and toilet paper, cats are blissfully oblivious to our worldwide pandemic and the need for social distancing.
Right now, expurrts say it’s best to keep 6 feet apurrt from others. Cats couldn’t disagree meowr.
While you are isolating from others, cats would like to lend you their social suppurrt.
Remember the CDC says – I’m purraphrasing here – “Don’t touch your face (except with a tail).”
Keep a cool (warm?) head and don’t get hissterical.
Work remotely from home if pawsible.
Furget the gym – exercise at home.
Stay the fluff home! (Easier to do if you have feline paralysis.)
Don’t leave the house if you’re not feline up to it.
And while it might feel like the weight of the world is upon mew…
…be sure to breathe. Because it’s impurrtant to take care of yourself.
