Despite his purebred appurrance, Vincent is a rescue cat – a naturally occurring lykoi. Together with his energetic younger fursibling, Tito, I was given an in-purrson look at their latest home catification purroject.

KATNISS: I was following your catifcation on IG. As the Catio Guy made purrogress with it, I was amazed.
VINCENT: We love the Catio Guy – he is the expurrt in catios and catification! Purreviously, he’d built our outdoor catio and now he’s designed and built this entire catification purroject. We’ve got a glass bottom bridge like the kinds that were featured in both the New York and Los Angeles Cats on Glass exhibits. The Humans love those because they are the ideal showcase for toebeans and cats’ “saggy parts.”

KATNISS: I’m impurressed with your cat supurrhighway – it’s got ramps, purrches, a peek-a-boo bubble bed and so much meowr.
TITO: I love the car-pet on the shelves! But then again, I love everything!

KATNISS: Well, you’ve got a lot to love here – there’s a sisel-covered floor-to-ceiling climbing pole, cat-shaped shelves, a spiral staircase – it’s all so quirky and mewnique… just like you two.
VINCENT: We were part of the purrocess, giving our input along the way. We wanted something contempurrary —
TITO: I wanted ramps and runs fur days! I like to zip and zoom!

VINCENT: And our sister Marley – who watched and supurrvised the workers during the entire purrocess — wanted a cozy place to curl up and snooze.
KATNISS: I see cat-shaped cubbies fur that.

VINCENT: I’m telling you, the Catio Guy thought of everything. He even purrvided us with a salad bowl they put treats in.
KATNISS: Um, I think you’re supposed to sleep in that. So the Humans can then look at your bod from underneath and laugh at your smooshed floof… or lack thereof.

VINCENT: Yes, catification is all about furm and function.
TITO: I think you mean function!
VINCENT: Don’t mind him. He’s just the happiest cat in the world.

KATNISS: There are 7 rescue cats in your family. You went from living on the streets to living the life.
VINCENT: You’re not kitten. Now excuse me while I attempt to use that salad bubble bowl as a bed.
TITO: Not if I get there furst!
